What was the worst lie you made up to get out of work or school?
I don't lie to get out of school or work. I'm always worried that if I lie, it'll come true to haunt me!

Good policy!
I once used the excuse that I couldn't go to school because I had a bad case of inertia. But then that was the truth in a way. I really was a body at rest wanting to stay at rest. It amazed me how four school staff and seven different teachers never read the note. They just signed the readmit card.
@Justin_DeBin@xanga - That is the best excuse I've ever heard. I would hope that a science teacher catches it, but lets you get off the hook for being so creative.
