...is over! I have mixed feelings about this. I am mostly happy and looking forward to the semester. However, I dread the arrival of winter. I have a poor track record of getting to school on time and I'm terrified of driving in the snow. If you have any ideas or advice for driving in the snow, please give me a line! All of my classes grade me for attendance and after 3 missed classes, I can fail the course. Any help would most be appreciated.

My English class is alright. My professor is a bit...spacey. I walked in about 5 minutes early and she had already started lecturing. Then she held us 10 minutes over so she could run to print an assignment and hand it out. Good thing my History class was just down the hall. I sit up in the front (as I do in all of my classes), but nobody sits with me. The guy next to me transferred out because he didn't like the professor. I did start a conversation with the guys in the next table over.
My History class seems it's going to be very easy. My professor is funny, but his jokes are starting to rub me the wrong way. He always kids that he will accept money for grade changes. It was funny the first day. The second week? It's going to be grating.
My Music Appreciation class is everything I hoped for it to be. We listen to classical music and I love it. It's a lot of reading, but since I already know how to read music, I'm okay. I can't wait to learn about all the different types of music, especially medi and baroque.
My Speech class is going to be fun too. I enjoy public speaking and do not suffer from nerves. Carlos' stepdaughter from his second marriage has class with me. During group work, she came up from the back to be in my group. It's funny, I'm like a little kid in awe of an older person, just tagging along. Anyways, we caught up a bit and talked about our babies. Carlos was wondering where she was and he was happy to hear that she was doing okay. I think she's really cool and hoped we'd be friends. She's only 2 years older than I am.
The only thing I don't like about my schedule is the fact that I have to drive every weekday. I'm going to take the bus because most mornings, I am too sleepy to drive. I'm worried that I might fall asleep at the wheel. Other than that, my schedule works perfectly. Carlos works nights and all of my classes are in the morning.
If you read all of this, you are an awesome subscriber! I just wanted to update to all of my real friends and my online ones, the happenings of my life. Next month is going to be a great one. Carlos and I will be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary (it's cotton! Who'da thunk?). I'll also have been in the great state of Illinois for 2 years, so I'll be blogging about that.
I hope all of you are doing wonderfully. I'll be reading your blogs and leaving comments. Peace and blessings.

That sounds delightful. Here's to many more great and positive changes, Ro! I hope things go as smoothly as you plan them to be for the next two months or so.
Hey, so you are back to school like me!!!!! Yayyyyyyyy! Not really.... I have so many things to do now. I don't know about you, even though I am in Uni, I still have to do HW, and it counts a grade. It sucks. I hope you have a great semester. =)
@Southeast_Beauty@xanga - Thanks, Firda dear.
@snowy87days@xanga - Yes, I have so much homework! And my attendance is graded too. I can't miss more than 3 days or my professors can flunk me. Thanks, you too!
